Cassie Pavy
My name is Cassie Pavy. I am 21 years old and a senior at Wofford College, originally from Florence, SC. At Wofford I am a Chemistry Pre-med major. I not only tutor students in Chemistry and Calculus, but also work at the Gibbs Cancer Clinic at Regional Hospital.
I first started playing volleyball in middle school. I went to a middle/high school that went from 7th-12th grade. While there, I started on the varsity volleyball team 8th-12th grade. I was also the captain of our team for my 11th and 12th grade year. While playing in high school, I was named as a Regional and All Star player and played in the All Star game. I was a setter for my high school team, but when I went to summer camps at universities was trained as a defensive specialist. In high school, I also started and played 3rd base in softball from 8th-12th grade.
I decided not to continue playing in college because I wanted to concentrate on my school work. However, I really miss playing and helping the younger players. I decided to coach with Club South so I can help girls improve on their skills and all of us have a fun and exciting time playing the sport we all love! |
